DrumToolz is an innovative mobile application that empowers drummers to compose intricate cadences anytime, anywhere. With an extensive range of instruments to choose from, including snares, tenors, bass drums, cymbals, and even drum sets, DrumToolz offers unparalleled versatility. Unlike other apps, DrumToolz allows users to manually input exercises for drum sets, marching snares, tenors, and bass drums while generating new creative ideas based on these inputs. These ideas are then displayed on an editable music score.

In addition to its composition features, DrumToolz offers a diverse array of functionalities. Users can upload their beats to their social profiles and play what other users have uploaded. They can also save rhythms and access a comprehensive library of dynamic exercises for both snare drums and drum sets. With DrumToolz, drummers of all skill levels, from beginners to advanced virtuosos, have the perfect platform to hone their skills.

One standout feature of DrumToolz is its ability to facilitate collaboration among drumline members. It allows users to isolate individual parts such as snare, tenors, and more. This makes it ideal for sharing drum cadences with your drumline and perfecting each section's performance.

The application is incredibly versatile when it comes to practicing beats and rhythms. From simple rock beats to complex jazz fills, DrumToolz empowers users to input and practice any rhythm they can imagine. Moreover, users can add ornaments such as stickings, accents, flams, diddles, and cheese to add complexity to their compositions. With the capability to input up to 50 measures, the possibilities are endless.

When practicing drum set beats, users can select from a variety of instruments including ride cymbal, hi-hat, hi-hat foot, kick drum, snare drum, and three toms. The application accommodates a wide range of note durations, from whole notes to thirty-second notes and tuplets. Similarly, the application offers multiple options for tenors, bass drums, and marching snares to ensure an authentic experience.

In addition to composition and practice capabilities, DrumToolz offers innovative features for generating new ideas and modifications. Users can choose from several modification methods such as Add, Shuffle, Substitute, Permutate, Repeat, and Random. These modifications can be applied to individual parts of the beat or the entire beat, providing endless opportunities for creative exploration.

DrumToolz also places a strong emphasis on customization. Users can create custom snare exercises with adjustable time signatures, subdivisions, tuplets, stickings, accents, flams, diddles, cheese, and drags. The application even supports the saving of beats in the score for later practice. By keeping the modifications intact, users can transform their beats into dynamic exercises that offer new challenges every time they are generated.

The ability to string together saved rhythms and practice them as one exercise is another noteworthy feature of DrumToolz. This feature is particularly useful for practicing beats followed by drum fills in a seamless manner.

Beyond its composition and practice functionalities, DrumToolz also enables users to share their beats through PDF links and files. Additionally, users can share their entire scores with others by providing a link that pre-populates the score into the app. This makes collaboration and feedback exchange effortless.
